Who We Are...
The AXperience is an indoor axe throwing entertainment complex located in Indiana, PA. The rustic all-American complex features ten lanes, providing the perfect opportunity to participate in open play, host a party, or join a league. Membership with the World Axe Throwing League (WATL) adds a valuable layer of organization and structure that sets the complex apart from regional competitors. League competitors will have the chance to win cash prizes. It’s a great place for anyone 10 years and older to have a fun time. Minors will need a parent or guardian present to throw. Those with a willingness to learn and a focus on safety are invited to play, regardless of prior experience with the sport. Experienced staff members will be there to help you every step of the way.
Our relaxed environment allows guests to bring their own food and beverages - beer, mead, and wine are welcome for those 21 and up. Axe throwing is a great way to pre-game a night out or an alternative to bar hopping altogether. While waiting to throw, you can connect to our public WiFi, making The AXperience the perfect place to hang out. Closed-toed shoes are required, but otherwise, wear whatever makes you happy. Neighbors, friends, IUP students, family, and complete strangers will leave with a sense of community as a result of such an exciting shared experience. Stop by Tuesday – Sunday for an affordable and fun day.
Meet The Team
Jon Finzen
A native of the great state of Iowa, Jon has called Indiana, Pennsylvania home for the last ten years. His love of the axe throwing sport was the result of a chance invitation from a good friend to visit a range. It didn’t take long after for Jon to start the plans that would soon result in The AXperience. A veteran of both the military and oil and gas industry, Jon is thrilled to bring the sport of axe throwing to his adopted home in Indiana.
